Update on New Mission theater

The latest news on the New Mission theater project, plus an invitation to hang out at Mission Bar tonight.

Update on New Mission theater

Apologies for the long delay between updates on our Mission theater project. I am excited to at long last share the news that the Alamo Drafthouse has received final building permits for the New Mission theater in San Francisco at 2550 Mission Street and construction is beginning in earnest. Listed below are some details for plans at the project:

•       We do not yet have a firm completion/opening date, but stay tuned (see below) for updates which will be coming more frequently.  All we can say now is that we'll be open in 2015.
•       The Alamo Drafthouse at the New Mission will have five screens and feature new release movies, independent and classic films and special events.
•       The Alamo Drafthouse at the New mission will be equipped with Sony 4k Digital, RealD 3D and changeover 35mm projection.
•       In addition to the movies, the Alamo features made-from-scratch food delivered to your seat, a great selection of local beer and wine and craft cocktails.
•       When the time comes, we will be inviting members of our free Victory loyalty program to be the first people to experience the theater at our grand opening, so sign up today!

Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and most importantly, join our free Victory loyalty program to stay up to date on construction news, which should be coming more frequently from here on out.

If anyone has questions about the theater or just wants to come say hello, I will be at the Mission Bar (2695 Mission St.) tonight starting at 9:30pm wearing a green plaid flannel jacket. The first 25 beers or whiskeys are on me.
