David Bowie on screen and David Bowie songs performed live on stage!

We've partnered up with Do512 on a new collaboration to create a fantastic addition to this summer's Austin evening entertainment schedule, AUSTIN SOUND & CINEMA: MUSIC & MOVIES ON THE LAWN. Every other Wednesday throughout the summer we'll be setting up our largest Rolling Roadshow screen at the base of the hill at the Long Center for an evening of unique pairings of live music and some of the most popular movies of all time.

And we're getting started TONIGHT, Weds, June 5, with a screening of LABYRINTH preceded by a concert with live music by SUPER CREEPS, Austin's best David Bowie tribute band!

These events are 100% free to the public thanks to our presenting sponsor Aquasana, the Austin-based makers of best-in-class home water filtration systems, who will be on site with free, filtered, great-tasting water for every event.

In addition to the featured entertainment, visitors can enjoy dining from Food Truck favorites including Frank, Blue Ox BBQ, Whole Foods, and more, all of which will be set up on the Long Center’s City Terrace.  Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale by the Long Center. Guests are also welcome to bring their own non-alcoholic drinks or food to picnic on the lawn.

The Food Trailers will be open by 7pm, and the sunset concerts will begin at 8pm each evening.  The movie will immediately follow just after dark.

Free car2go drop zone will be available for all events, at Long Center main entrance on Riverside. Additional parking is available in the Palmer Events Center Garage.

Here's our line up for the rest of the summer:
