Time Magazine - the number one magazine in the world - just came out with their "Top 10 of Everything of 2010" list today. Did you know that the Top Album of the year was Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy? You probably could have guessed that, because that album is the jam. How about that the Top Buzzword is "Vuvuzela," that rascally, whale-rape-whistle of a sound ubiquitous at the World Cup?
The lists go on and on, and they're worth checking out. But we're not here today to discuss the Top Feud, Sarah Palin vs. Levi Johnston. We're talking about a movie called FOUR LIONS. Chris Morris' debut feature about a cell of imbecilic Jihadists was included in Time Magazine's Top 10 Movies of the Year!
FOUR LIONS is in good company. The list reads:
Richard Corliss, who's been a fan of the film since the beginning, repeated his line that FOUR LIONS is the "blackest, ballsiest political comedy since Dr. Strangelove."
Make sure to check out FOUR LIONS if you haven't yet. It's still delighting audiences at the Austin Alamo South Lamar theatre with one or two screenings a day, and you've got to try to catch it before it leaves town. The movie is hilarious.
