This autumn, Master Pancake is going to boil, bake, batter and fry the beloved '90s classic FORREST GUMP. Featuring Tom Hanks (THE MONEY PIT, JOE VS. THE VOLCANO) as a good-hearted shrimp-baron whose hobbies include jogging, playing ping-pong, eating chocolate and telling long boring stories.

The man who defines what it is to be a myth and a legend returns to the Alamo Drafthouse this fall for one night only, with his new film MY NAME IS BRUCE. The show itself is at the end of the month, but tickets are going on sale THIS FRIDAY at 3pm, and we're sure that they'll be selling out quick. Don't delay! By 3:10pm they could all be gone. Zelda's had a storied career already, appearing as the fortune teller in TEEN WITCH, the psychic in POLTERGEIST, and the hypnotic mother in ANGUISH, amongst many, many other roles. And for one night only, she'll be sharing in the viewing of two of those roles as we present a special TEEN WITCH SING-ALONG at 9:30pm, and follow that with a Terror Thursday screening of ANGUISH! The eyes of the city are hers!

Nick (Michael Cera) frequents New York's indie rock scene nursing a broken heart and a vague ability to play the bass. Norah (Kat Dennings) is questioning pretty much all of her assumptions about the world. Though they have nothing in common except for their taste in music, their chance encounter leads to an all-night quest to find a legendary band's secret show and ends up becoming the first date in a romance that could change both their lives.

Ed Harris is back with his first film as director since 2000's tour de force POLLOCK! Set in 1882 in the Old West territory of New Mexico, "Appaloosa" revolves around city marshal Virgil Cole (Ed Harris) and his deputy and partner Everett Hitch (Viggo Mortensen), who have made their reputation as peacekeepers in the lawless towns springing up in the untamed land.

At first it seems a little odd, watching such an important historical event on a giant High Def movie screen with beer and queso in front of you, but if you’ve ever tried it you’ll never want to watch a debate at home again. The crowd cheers and hisses throughout and there’s a great feeling of neighborhood camaraderie as you watch, enjoy, learn and laugh. And as a special bonus, this election year both candidates can speak the English language in complete sentences and with correct conjugation.
