THE GREAT GATSBY DINNER PARTY BRINGS THE ROARING ‘20s BACK TO LIFE ON MAY 14

Summer is a season of over-the-top cinema, but only one film this season is actually about excess: THE GREAT GATSBY.

Baz Luhrmann has turned his frenetic, irreverent style onto F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel about the enigmatic Jay Gatsby and his pursuit of Daisy Buchanan in the midst of the Roaring 1920s.  It’s a story that’s shaped everyone’s perceptions about that decade – flappers, bootlegging, organized crime, unimaginable wealth, and parades of parties.    Luhrmann has taken all those mythic images, splashed them with 3D, and set them to contemporary music, bringing the doomed world of Jay and Daisy uncomfortably close to home.

A film as splashy as GATSBY deserves an over-the-top affair, and Alamo Drafthouse Littleton couldn’t resist throwing a party worthy of a millionaire.  If you want to dine like Daisy Buchanan while watching her sip champagne, then our GREAT GATSBY Dinner Party on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00pm is for you.

We’ve designed a unique menu inspired by the film.  The food is as lavish as we can make it, and each course is paired with complementing alcohol:

Course One

West Egg
Egg salad, truffle, caviar, chive flowers, caviar and baby romaine
Paired with Nicholas Feuillatte Brut NV

Course Two

Petite New England style clam chowder, finished with sherry
Paired with Guinness Foreign Export Stout

Course Three

Turkey scaloppini with a morel-cognac cream sauce with wilted baby spinach
Paired with Steelhead Chardonnay, Sonoma

Course Four
Citrus summer pudding in a pool of blueberry anglaise
Paired with Yalumba Muscat NV

Vegetarian and allergy options are available for all our feasts and dinner parties.  If you have any special dietary requirements, please contact us ahead of time, or inform your server after you’re been seated and we will do our best to accomodate you.

The GATSBY feast is unique in that you can watch the film for our regular $10.50 ticket price without purchasing the feast option.  If you purchase the feast, you'll be charged an additional cost of $55.00.  Please note that if you decline the feast, there is no other food service available in the theater.  If you want to dine on our wonderful beer, burgers and pizza, then you'll want to watch the film at one of our regular GATSBY screenings.

Tickets for THE GREAT GATSBY Dinner Party are on sale now.  This night is a transitory enchanted moment, and you won’t want to miss it.
