Win passes to THE WORLD’S END with Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in attendance!

In case you live in a cave (where did you find a cave in Dallas?), on July 25 Alamo Drafthouse Richardson will host the “Blood and Ice Cream” trilogy in its entirety -  featuring a FREE outdoor double feature of SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ on our 40-foot Rolling Roadshow screen right there in the parking lot of Alamo Richardson* and a FREE advance screening of the highly anticipated final film, THE WORLD’S END. Oh, and did we mention that writer/director Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will be here to present the films and participate in a special Q&A?!

So, here’s how you can get your hands on one of the coveted pairs of passes for this very special presentation of THE WORLD’S END...put your thinking caps on and get ready to get creative because that’s what you’ll need to win:

  • Wright and Pegg dubbed it the “Blood and Ice Cream” trilogy (also known as the “Three Flavours Cornetto” trilogy) because each film features a double scoop of blood and ice cream. Specifically a different flavor of Cornetto - a tasty frozen treat famous in the UK (the equivalent of our Good Humor King Cone) - that represents the theme of each film (red strawberry for zombie gore, blue original for police action, mint choc-chip for alien invasion). But you probably knew that already didn't you?!
  • Tweet us @AlamoDFW and tell us in 130 characters or less what you would rename the “Blood and Ice Cream” trilogy if you could come up with an alternate title for it? The more creative the better. You’ll have to show us your knowledge and nerdom of the films if you want to attend this exclusive fan event!
  • Make sure to send us a follow up tweet immediately with your email so that we may contact you if you are selected as a winner. If we don’t have your email, we can’t notify you that you’ve won passes. If you don't feel comfortable publicly tweeting it, you can always DM it to us. Just make sure you do it immediately following your entry tweet.

CONTEST RULES (Please read throughly or your entry may be disqualified)

-Deadline to enter is Wednesday, July 10 at midnight CST.

-Winners will be notified at least one week prior to the screening date.

-Winners will be guaranteed a seat at THE WORLD’S END screening. However, arriving as early as possible is still encouraged to ensure that you get your preferred seating in the theater. Winners who do not arrive by 6:00pm sharp will forfeit their seats. All details on how/where to line up, etc. will be sent to winners post-contest.

*The outdoor double feature is FREE to attend and no passes are needed. Admittance will be based on a first come, first serve basis until the area is determined to be at capacity. Attendees of the outdoor screening will be permitted to set up chairs in the outdoor screening area starting at 9AM on July 25 (originally stated as 3:30PM but we have changed it to remove the need for a line). Bringing your own chair is encouraged...we will not provide chairs for the screening.
