The Mile High Horror Film Festival and the Alamo Drafthouse join forces to bring you the scariest films and special guests, October 3-6

THE MILE HIGH HORROR FILM FESTIVAL COMES TO ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE LITTLETON

Since our grand opening, Mile High Horror has been one of our most enthusiastic partners at Alamo Drafthouse Littleton.   They've brought their love and passion for horror cinema to our theater by hosting and sponsoring numerous events and screenings, and each one has been a roaring success. Now, beginning on October 3, we're turning the Drafthouse over to them for the 2013 Mile High Horror Film Festival.

The Mile High Horror Film Festival is a four day event that will run from October 3-6, and showcases a variety of independent horror films, giving a platform to the artists and filmmakers behind them. They also honor genre classics with revival screenings and special guests.  It's an event for fans, by fans, that celebrates horror films and the daring individuals who make them.

This year promises to be one of the festival's biggest yet, with special guests Roddy Piper (THEY LIVE!) and Meg Foster (THEY LIVE!) who will be present for a screening of THEY LIVE!,   Linda Blair (THE EXORCIST) wo will host a special 40th anniversary screening of THE EXORCIST and Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD, THE DEVIL'S REJECTS) who will be present for a rare screening of DAWN OF THE DEAD.  Additional guests include Doug Bradley (HELLRAISER), Jeffery Riddick (FINAL DESTINATION series), Dan Myrick (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT), Tiffany Shepis, Timothy Quill (ARMY OF DARKNESS, Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN series), Jonathan Tiersten (SLEEPAWAY CAMP), Jim Mickle (WE ARE WHAT WE ARE), and The Enigma.

The full line-up of feature fillms playing at Mile High Horror Film Festival is available on Dread Central. It's an exciting list of films, so be sure to check it out, and plan out your must see list.   Of course, every film and event will receive the full Alamo treatment, with food and beverage to order, and delivered by our stealthy ninja servers.

All Access passes for the Mile High Horror Film Festival have sold out, but Day Passes are still available.  Tickets for individual screenings are on sale now through our website (scroll down to the October portion of the calendar!), and are bound to go fast, so you'll want to act fast for any special event or screening you want to see.  Additional information about the guests and events is available on the Mile High Horror Film Festival's official website, and up-to-the-minute information can be found on their  Facebook and Twitter pages.
