Food Feedback: Slaughter Lane new menu offerings

Our Chefs Jason and Trish have been tasked with some pretty hefty goals: Create a menu to be proud of, containing the highest quality products available and source locally when at all possible. In an effort to consistently enhance the menu, we have designated Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter Lane as our test kitchen. Items that make it past multiple rounds of tastings are then placed on the menu to be ordered by our guests. While on the Slaughter menu, we hope to collect as much feedback as possible before we discontinue or continue a product, and as we continue to develop new products. We are asking you in this blog to please view the new items below, and provide us with feedback on each item you tasted in the comments below.

We will start with the Spicy Peanut Snack Mix, work our way through salads, tacos, hot dogs, pizzas, burgers, fries and end with cookies and phosphates. We thank you in advance and very much appreciate your feedback. 

Roasted Garlic Hummus. (Sub veggies for $1)

Mini Banh Mi Hot Dogs: Sriracha, Mayo, Carrot, Cucumber, Cilantro. 

Jalepeno Pimento Cheese, Texas Toast & Pickles. 

Herb Parmesean Bread: Mozzarella, Spicy tomato sauce. 

Chicken & Chorizo: Charred tomato salsa, Cheddar, Red onion, Tomato, Cotija, Cilantro. 

Brussels Sprouts, Smoked Bacon & Goat Cheese: Mozarella, Black pepper, Parmesan, Pecorino. 

Beets & Oranges Salad: Mixed Greens, Pistachios, Goat cheese crostini, Sherry Vinaigrette. 

Lentil & Chickpea Salad: Mixed Greens, Cucumber, Red Onion, Feta, Lemon Vinaigrette.  

Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese: Cheddar, Parmesan, Pecorino, Breadcrumbs. 

Triple Pork Burger: Pork, Chorizo, Smoked Bacon, White Cheddar, Spicy Mayo, Red Onion, Tomato, Cilantro. 

BBQ & Smoked Bacon: Cheddar, Beer Mustard, Purple Cabbage and Red Onion Slaw. 

Spicy Pork Tacos: Pickled Red Onion, Avocado, Cilantro, Cotija. 

Loaded Fries: With Cheddar, Smoked bacon, Sriracha, Sour cream, Scallions and Cilantro. 

Baked to order warm cookies: Oatmeal Cherry Stout. 

Baked to order warm cookies: Crunchy Candy. 

Onto the last two items, our drink specials. First, the Phsophates Fountain Soda: Cherry, Lemon, Chocolate, Peach-Prickly Pear. Then, the Rickey's Fountain Soda: Cheery-Lime, Strawberry-Lemon and Mint-Lime.
