A “MOOD INDIGO” ROLLING ROADSHOW TO BENEFIT THE MS150

A SPECIAL ADVANCE SCREENING OF THE LATEST FROM ACCLAIMED DIRECTOR MICHEL GONDRY WITH FOUR-COURSE FEAST INSPIRED BY THE FILM!

A “MOOD INDIGO” ROLLING ROADSHOW TO BENEFIT THE MS150

Join us for a very special fundraiser screening and feast with MOOD INDIGO on Saturday, May 10th at the home of Alamo Drafthouse founder and CEO Tim League in support of the MS Foundation.

MOOD INDIGO is the beautiful new film from Michel Gondry, the director of ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP. The film is a love story set in a charmingly surreal Paris about two newlyweds, Chloe (Audrey Tautou, AMÉLIE) and Colin (Romain Duris, THE BEAT MY HEART SKIPPED), whose whirlwind courtship is tested when an unusual illness plagues Chloe. Todd Gilchrist of The Wrap calls it "a beautiful love story, Gondry's most accomplished and powerful film." MOOD INDIGO will be released in July of this year by Drafthouse Films.

This benefit screening is an incredible opportunity to see the film two months before its U.S. release, as well as to help support the fight against multiple sclerosis.

This will be an outdoor screening at League’s home. Chef Trish Elchelberger will prepare and serve a four-course prix fixe menu inspired by the film. Additionally, the ticket price includes drink pairings from Alamo Beverage Director Bill Norris. This is a seated event and space is limited.

On April 19th and 20th, a group of Alamo Drafthouse family members and 20,000 other participants biked 150 miles from Houston to Austin in the MS150, a two-day fundraising cycling ride, in an effort to support the MS Foundation as they continue to move towards a world without multiple sclerosis.  This Rolling Roadshow is the final 2014 gathering to garner awareness and contributions towards this worthy cause.

"For the past five years, Alamo Drafthouse has sponsored an MS150 team,” says Alamo Drafthouse Founder and CEO Tim League.  “We ride to help support the research for a multiple sclerosis cure.  We like to have fun while we fundraise, and we are extremely excited to share this elegant sneak preview of Michel Gondry’s MOOD INDIGO, the latest from our own Drafthouse Films.”
