Miss out on DEMOLITION MAN and you’ll regret it for the rest of your life ... both seconds of it

Join us this March for two screenings of DEMOLITION MAN, a high-powered drillhammer of '90s action films featuring Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock and Taco Bell.

Miss out on DEMOLITION MAN and you’ll regret it for the rest of your life ... both seconds of it

There are a few '90s action films that have just not aged well. Weighed down by obnoxious cultural references, unfunny "it" comedians and dated special effects, these popcorn flicks have been lost to the sands of time — well, as much time sand that can be accumulated in twenty years, that is.

On the other hand, there are a few action films from the '90s that have not just aged well, they've actually managed to get better with time. Director Marco Brambilla's DEMOLITION MAN is a film that — over the last few decades — has managed to become a pitch-perfect satire masquerading as in-your-face action movie hullaballoo. Sylvester Stallone stars as John Spartan, an ultra-violent cop frozen in cryogenic sleep and awoken in the far future to fight an escaped criminal from his past. Wesley Snipes is Simon Phoenix, a platinum blonde villain who takes fashion lessons from early '90s white rappers and has the temperament of a rabid badger. Together, the two turn future LA into their playground — wrecking shop in a near utopian future that had previously managed to eradicate all violence and unnecessary death.

To celebrate Brambilla's incredibly fun film, we're pulling out all the stops for two March screenings. You'll get live in-theater explosions, cap guns for everyone and a few more surprises including, for a few lucky guests, a sampling from the victor of the Franchise Wars and the tastiest of all high-price dining, Taco Bell. Maybe somebody can even let us know how those damn three seashells work.

Saturday, March 3 @ 7:30 PM — West Oaks
