Nora Ephron's new film JULIE & JULIA opens on August 7th at South Lamar and we couldn't pass up on the opportunity to let Alamo chef Trish Eichelberger do what she does best- create bliss. The film is an adaptation of two different books- Julie Powell's bestselling memoir Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen, and Julia Child's memoir My Life in France. Powell (Amy Adams) embarks on a year-long culinary quest to cook all 524 recipes in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Trish has been on her own quest, preparing the perfect menu to pair with the film, painstakingly sifting through her encyclopedic knowledge of French cuisine for her special JULIE & JULIA Feast. Well, she just sent the menu over. How do you say daaaammmmmmn! in French?
