The menu for Tuesday's Taste of Sixth dinner at Parkside Restaurant has been announced, and I for one am very excited about it.
Featuring dishes and matching wine pairings from six of the top restaurants on Sixth Street, the Taste of Sixth dinner is a fundraiser for the "clean and safe" initiatives of Sixth Street Austin. A non-profit association, Sixth Street Austin’s mission is to make the E. Sixth Street National Register Historic District a source of pride to the Austin community (There are a lot of sixes in that paragraph).
I've personally been involved in Sixth Street Austin for a little more than a year, and I would like to personally encourage you to come out on Tuesday for what is proving to be a very memorable evening of dinner, drinks and fun over at one of our our favorite new restaurants, chef Shawn Cirkiel's Parkside.
