MADAGASCAR MEETS THE MAN OF STEEL

Look up there! It’s a bird … it’s a plane … it’s Dave “The Bullet” Smith, and he’s coming to Alamo Drafthouse Littleton to remind us all a man can fly!

On Tuesday, June 11 at 7:00, we're kicking off our Aspen Grove Outdoor Free Family Film Series with MADGASCAR 3: EUROPE'S MOST WANTED. We're bringing the big top to the outside of the Drafthouse, so that the Madagascar animals aren't the only ones who are at the circus ... our audience is, too!

As part of our MADAGASCAR circus, "The Bullet"  will be blasting out of a human cannon outside our theater, and sail hundreds of feet through the air. As if that’s not exciting enough, he’s going to don a Superman outfit to prove he’s a MAN OF STEEL, and to honor the big screen return of Superman on Thursday, June 13 at midnight.   We’ll see who flies best in a cape: “The Bullet” Smith or Henry Cavill!

But it isn’t all about superheroes and cannons at MADGASCAR CIRCUS.  We’ll also have face painting, a bounce house, and the entertainment of the Sventastic Sven Jorgensen.  He’ll prove he’s a just as much of a superhero when he juggles fire, balances on the Tower of Power, and walks the world’s thinnest tightrope.  (We think means he’s from Krypton too!)

For the adults, the Humane Society of South Platte Valley will provide beer vouchers for a $4.00 donation, and our beer is being supplied by the fantastic Avery Brewing Company.  Local brew for a great cause … what could taste better?

Food will be available for purchase from the Alamo Drafthouse Littleton, so you don’t have to worry about catching dinner, and missing our human cannon!  Remember, dinner and a movie is our specialty, even when we’re outdoors.

At dusk, we’ll be screening MADGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED, so get comfortable with your blanket and chair, and enjoy this animated adventure by the light of the stars.

The Aspen Grove Outdoor Free Family Film Series will be happening every Tuesday until July 9, so be sure to check out the complete schedule.   And if you want to check out a free film indoors, our Alamo Kids Camp is up and running, so you have lots of reasons to chill out at the Drafthouse this summer.
