Current Theme: Superheroes, Supervillains, Comic Books
All artwork should be a reflection of the current theme
Each artist can submit up to four (4) pieces of original artwork
Submissions will be accepted via e-mail (using JPG files) or photographs of the pieces may be dropped off at the store in person.Please do not bring any artwork to the store until you are notified of acceptance
Work must be ready to hang (i.e. canvas, framed, solid backing...no loose paper)
Work can be in any medium (must be dry)
Weight of each piece must not exceed ten (10) pounds
Artwork size must not exceed 4' x 4' due to limited space
All selected work must be delivered to the Alamo by June 21st at 12:00pm
All artwork must be signed and a piece of paper should be attached to the back with the following information: artist contact information (name, e-mail and phone), and the asking price for the piece. Artwork arriving without this information will not be displayed
Artists will receive 75% commission off any sales. The Alamo Drafthouse will retain 25% commission on any sales
All pieces selected will be up for display on July 1st 2011 through Aug 1st 2011
There is no guarantee of sale. If sold, payment could take up to 4 weeks to be received. All unsold artwork must be picked up by September 1, 2011. Any pieces not picked up by this date become property of the Alamo Drafthouse
The Alamo will do our best to safeguard the artwork, however, the Alamo assumes no liability for damage or theft
