In celebration of Beethoven's birthday, we are proud to welcome back the fine musicians of PKW Productions for a special Movie and Music presentation of perhaps their most popular show. That's right folks, I am talking about Bernard Rose's IMMORTAL BELOVED, starring the incomparable Gary Oldman as Ludwig Von Beethoven.
If you've never been to a PKW Productions music and movie screening, here's what to expect. The show will begin with an introduction concert featuring local classical musicians playing works either by Beethoven, or inspired by Beethoven. After the intro concert, we will get into about 3/4 of IMMORTAL BELOVED before taking a quick intermission featuring even more live music. This is the most fitting way we could think of to celebrate the great composers birthday and a great way to delve deeper into the works that inspired the film.
