Forget Manhattan, this April The Muppets are taking Market Square Park!

What do The Muppets and Jason Voorhees have in common? They’ve both taken Manhattan. Join us on Friday, April 6 at 8 PM for a free screening of THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN at the historic Market Square Park in downtown Houston.

With spring here at last, we’re excited to get out under the night sky and enjoy some of our favorite movies. That’s why we’re teaming up with Market Square Park for free Rolling Roadshow screenings throughout July. The screenings are free to attend – all you need to do is bring a few blankets or a picnic and you can enjoy the classic Muppets film on our Rolling Roadshow equipment as we project the film on our inflatable screen.

In THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN, the 1984 film from director Frank Oz, Jim Henson’s creations return to the big screen in their third live-action musical film. When the Muppets travel to New York to get their play on Broadway, they run into a mess of problems – including con artists, amnesia and dead end jobs at a local diner. The film features cameos from Dabney Coleman, Elliott Gould, Gregory Hines, John Landis, Liza Minnelli, Joan Rivers and Brooke Shields.

No glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages will be allowed at the screening but food, beer and wine will be available for purchase at Niko Niko’s.

See you there!
