Boy oh boy, do we have a weekend activity for you. Cancel your plans, grab a camera, some clothes you don’t mind getting fake blood all over and prepare for the latest installment of the Bloodshots 48-Hr Filmmaking Challenge. This time around, the name of the game is Zombies. This Friday the 15th at 7pm we will issue registered teams an assigned horror subgenre, a line of dialogue that must be included in their zombie short, a weapon that must come into play and then let them run wild with their creativity! Once 7pm on Sunday rolls around, teams will submit their 6-minute or less finished products, which will then be viewed by a panel of judges with tasty brains. 48 hours, coffee infused Red Bull, and at least one character of the undead persuasion is all it really takes. The best shorts will be screened at the Drafthouse as part of our Dismember the Alamo zombie programming. PLUS the top two films will take home heaps of glory and sweet first and second place prizes! Stay tuned for more details, but in the meantime, sign up your team NOW!
