The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Houston is inviting its audience of movie fans to attend early screenings of Darren Aronofsky’s NOAH with a friend while dressed up as a pair of animals. Guests who, while dressed in matching animal costumes, attend early screenings of the film beginning at 7 PM on Thursday, March 27 will enjoy “Buy One, Get One Free” tickets and a free large popcorn. Advanced tickets for NOAH are available at www.drafthouse.com/houston.

“We’re very excited to see Darren Aronofsky’s latest film” says Robert Saucedo, Programming Director for the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Houston. “A new film from the visionary who brought the world films such as REQUIEM FOR A DREAM and BLACK SWAN is something to celebrate. What better way to celebrate than with a theater full of animal couplings?”

Guests’ costumes must not be a distraction to those seated around them (please, no giraffe costumes). The “Buy One, Get One Free” ticket offer and complimentary popcorn bonus are only valid for screenings of NOAH on Thursday, March 27 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Mason Park in Katy and Vintage Park in Northwest Houston. The offer may only be redeemed at the box office for screenings the night of the show.

NOAH is the sixth film from Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky. A fantastical retelling of the Bible epic, NOAH stars Russell Crowe as a man commanded by God to build an ark that will protect his family from a coming flood. Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins and Emma Watson co-star.

Just as Noah’s ark provided sanctuary to the animal kingdom, drawn to the boat in pairs, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Houston is providing sanctuary to the city’s movie fans who want to see the film free from the distractions of cell phone use or talking customers. The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema allows admittance to children six and older when accompanied by an adult.  Our “No Talking and No Texting” policy ensures an uninterrupted movie going experience.
