Climb aboard the Pork Chop Express ... We’re headed to BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA this March

As a team, John Carpenter and Kurt Russell are near unbeatable. Together, the filmmaker and movie star are responsible for such classics as THE THING, ELVIS and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK. In 1986, the two would team up for a martial arts flick and the end result was a glorious hodgepodge of ancient mysticism, bogus monsters and some of the best one liners ever to escape from the '80s.

Russell stars in BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA as Jack Burton, a truck driver who finds himself caught up in ancient magics when he decides to help a pal rescue his fiancee from Chinatown gang members who report to Lo Pan, an evil sorcerer played by James Hong. Along the way, you'll meet the Three Storms, a trio of super powered assassins, a righteous lawyer played by future "Sex in the City" star Kim Cattrall and an assortment of demons, monsters and nasties of all shapes and sizes.

While the film was a box office bomb upon its initial release, BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA has enjoyed great critical acclaim and an ever-growing cult following since its release. And there's a simple reason why - the film is hands-against-the-wall, spread-your-legs amazing. It's just about the most fun you'll have in a theater this year – due in large part to the fact that you're going to get the chance to see it on the big screen at both locations. You know what ol' Jack Burton says at a time like this...

Wednesday, March 7 @ 7 PM — West Oaks
