Christmas is all around at this December’s screenings of LOVE ACTUALLY

Fact: It is impossible to not enjoy LOVE ACTUALLY even just a little bit. Anybody who says differently is secretly The Grinch in disguise.

The film, an anthology of love stories from director Richard Curtis, is an infectiously cheerful Christmas movie from England that has just the right amount of charm, humor, romance and sentimentality to create the perfect specimen when it comes to feel-good holiday films. I don't care how terrible of a day you've had, if you sit down and watch LOVE ACTUALLY all the way through, you will feel like a million bucks (or should I say pounds?).

The film features an all-star cast of the United Kingdom's greatest actors including Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Martin Freeman, Andrew Lincoln (who you may know better as Rick Grimes from "The Walking Dead") and Keira Knightley. As characters fall in and out of love, the clock counts down to Christmas — a time where grudges can be forgiven, new romances be formed and longstanding friendships be celebrated. All the while, you'll get great Christmas pop music, wonderfully droll British humor and some of the most adorable little kid performances you're likely to ever see in a movie. All and all, it's just not that bad of a way to spend your evening.

So bring tissues, your best friends and a heart in need of an emergency infusion of Christmas cheer because you won't want to miss our two screenings of LOVE ACTUALLY this December. For many, watching this film is a Christmas tradition (I know it is for me!), why not spend that tradition at the Alamo Drafthouse?

Tuesday, December 13 @ 7:30 PM — Mason Park

Thursday, December 22 @ 6:30 PM — West Oaks
