There are two big requests we have heard leading up to the release of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2. One is that we provide an option to see the movie in 2D and the other is to offer an opportunity to re-live every magical Hogwarts moment that has ever flickered across the screen so that when that final film hits the screen at 12:01am on July 15th we will all be fully immersed in the wizarding world. Every flick of the wand will be fresh on the brain. Of course, we have decided to offer both.
ALL ABOUT POTTER-A-THON TICKETS
The time is finally here and there is no better way to prepare oneself for the glory of the final Harry Potter movie than by total immersion in all things Harry Potter for a full 18 hours leading up to the midnight premiere of the final film.
The Potter-a-thon begins at 4:30am sharp on Thursday, July 14th and ends with a midnight screening of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2. However, due to distributor regulations we have to sell the ticket to the midnight separately from the ticket to the Potter-a-thon. The $70 Potter-a-thon tickets get you access to the first seven Harry Potter movies. In order to make sure you keep the same cozy spot you have had all day, we will reserve you a ticket to the midnight premiere of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2 in your same theater. Once the marathon starts you stay right in the very same spot all the way through to the end. These tickets will be reserved for folks attending the Potter-a-thon to purchase at the box office when they arrive for the Potter-a-thon. They will be the same price as a regular screening and may not be purchased before the day of the Potter-a-thon, but don’t worry they will be there waiting for you to purchase so please do not purchase a ticket to any other midnight screening of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2 in advance.
Doors will open one hour before the start time of the first movie, but don't worry about getting a good seat. You will be watching the Potter-a-thon from a comfortable seat because we are setting a limit on tickets that will ensure that nobody has to sit in the front row.
We have heard the cries for the option to see the Potter-a-thon accompanied by the premier of the final film in 2D so the midnight screening that accompanies the Potter-a-thon will be 2D.
It will be each muggle’s choice whether to watch the final installment in 2D or 3D. Tickets for the midnight premier of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2 will go on sale for 2D and 3D screenings at noon on Monday, June 20th on our website. Both versions will be available at our South Lamar, Village and Lake Creek locations.
