On December 12, Frank Sinatra would have turned 96. While the legendary American singer (and actor) may be gone, his legacy is still very much present. That's why on this day we're paying tribute to the Chairman of the Board with two very special events: the Sinatra's Birthday Sing-Along from The Action Pack and a Big Screen Classics screening of the original OCEAN'S 11!
First up: The Action Pack, those geniuses of interactive cinema, are at it again with a two-hour tribute to the Rat Pack. What better way to ring in Ol' Blue Eyes' birthday than by boozing it up and belting out some of his most popular tunes at the top of your lungs?!? Frank Sinatra isn't the only member of the Rat Pack that we'll be spotlighting at this Sing-Along, though. You'll get rare videos and concert footage of Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin, too. All the songs will be subtitled — meaning you don't have to worry about forgetting the words to the songs because you've had one alcoholic beverage too many.
Over at the Ritz, we're screening the original heist classic, OCEAN'S 11. Full of crime, humor and — most of all — drinking. To make this even more appropriate, we've teamed up with our Beverage Director, Bill Norris, who's shaken-not-stirred up four dellcious cocktails available only during this screening: The Manhattan, The Tom Collins, The Brandy Alexanderm, and The Tequila Sunrise.
This suave, rarely screened classic features the Rat Pack doing what they do best — being undeniably cool. This is a perfect opportunity for you to settle back into your theater chair, order up some tasty adult beverages and remember why, exactly, not even Stephen Soderbergh, Brad Pitt and George Clooney can surpass the Mount Rushmore of cool that is the Rat Pack.
