The Alamo Drafthouse's Cinema's Rolling Roadshow is teaming up with the Bellaire Buzz and Bellaire Parks and Recreation for a special screening of JAWS at the Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center. Watch Steven Spielberg's classic movie as you take a swim. Just watch out for any fins on the water or nibbles on your toes.

We end our Free Family Fun series with a week of free screenings of THE GOONIES. But good times aren't over yet, we're kicking off a free Alamo Kids Club series in Houston  on September 17 with a free screening of THE GREAT MUPPET CAPER.

It's the 30th anniversary of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON this month and to honor John Landis' landmark horror-comedy, the Alamo Drafthouse at West Oaks is screening the film a double-bill with the original FRIGHT NIGHT. Besides the two movies, we've got a ton of fun planned for the night — including games, giveaways and all your favorite Graveyard Shift shenanigans. 

In a summer filled with movies about killer aliens munching down on humans, here's an opportunity to watch Steven Spielberg's classic family film on the big screen and remember that sometimes the only thing you have to fear about a visit from an extraterrestrial is the crappy Atari game that will accompany it. 

We've just confirmed that our fine furry friends from Gallery Furniture and Westside Tennis will be returning to the Alamo Drafthouse — Mason Park on Friday, August 5 to hang out with visitors — flaunting their superior dexterity skills. Who says RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES isn't a true story?
