We are quickly approaching the opening of our new Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at the Vintage Park Shopping Village. While the theater itself is still under construction, we just couldn’t wait to start entertaining the north Houston community so we’re bringing our Rolling Roadshow to the Vintage Park Shopping Village for two very special free events this December.
This Saturday, December 1, we will screen IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE. This heartwarming Christmas classic kicks off around 6 PM (or when it starts getting dark enough for our projector) and is the perfect way to get a jump start on your holiday festivities and spend an evening with your loved ones under the night sky. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy our huge inflatable outdoor movie screen. While we don’t have our Alamo Drafthouse kitchen up and running quite yet, you are encouraged to pack a picnic to enjoy at the event. RSVP for the event on Facebook here.
On Saturday, December 15, we will bring more holiday fun with the Rolling Roadshow Quote-Along screening of ELF. If you’ve never been to one of our unique Alamo Drafthouse Signature Events, this is the perfect opportunity to see what all the fun is about. ELF, that modern-day holiday classic starring Will Ferrell, will be given the complete interactive make-over. We have sub-titled the best lines from the movie and provide props and goodies to help celebrate the family-friendly tribute to holiday goodwill.
